wondering which driving school to choose?
If you are anything like me, when I was looking around for
driving lessons in my home town of Birmingham in the UK, no matter where you
live you will have noticed that some driving schools focus on offer the
cheapest prices possible, whilst others appear to be genuinely providing
quality instruction.
I came to the conclusion that the main thing I should be looking
for when choosing driving lessons in Birmingham, is a driving school that is
truthful with you from day regarding what to expect when you drive with them.
Having gone through the process myself with several
different driving schools, I realized that there can be a distinct difference
between instructors.
The first instructor appeared to be more focused on how many
lessons I would commit to before I had even driven with him the first time and
the second one barely spoke to me apart from to give me instruction on what to
do next but rarely ever how I should do it.
Maybe these approaches work for some people but I would
assume that most pupils like myself, would prefer to have a relationship with
their instructor which could be described as comfortable.
Wrongly or rightly, if an instructor gives you the
impression that they are more concerned with how much money they are going to
receive from you or if they make very little attempt to make you feel relaxed,
then your progress towards passing your driving test might work out slower than
you would like.
My final decision on who to take driving lessons in Birmingham with was based on finally finding a driving school where the
instructor more or less immediately told me the truth about what to expect
during my time with him.
Irrespective of where you live, if you take me advice on
what to look for when choosing driving lessons, you can't go far wrong.
